GALLERY THIRTY THREE TURNS THREE! CONVERGENCE – A Group Exhibition

New works from our stable of artists

7th – 28th March 2008

Madeleine Child, Pop Pop

Gallery Thirty Three has reached an important milestone. March 1st marks three years under the ownership of Norma Dutton and Peter Gregg. According to my interrogative google search on the subject, by this anniversary you are aware of the durability of a relationship and leather is the most traditional gift to symbolise this. Leather is a strong yet flexible material which has a sense of resilience and perhaps the gallery has some of these attributes too!

We are delighted to mark our anniversary celebrations with a show entitled Convergence. Bringing together a diverse body of energizing new artworks from our stable of artists, we hope you will celebrate with us! Artists include Madeleine Child, Deirdre Copeland, Maryrose Crook, Katie Gold, Philip Jarvis, Cristina Popovici, Michael Smither, Graham Ambrose, Melissa Young and much, much more. It is also an opportunity to introduce a couple of new faces too! Skilled Christchuch printmaker Ben Reid and two recent fine arts graduates Alan Ibell and Alissia Holzer who we believe are taking art in fresh and exciting new directions.

A taste of works on exhibition is featured below. For further images and information regarding artists, please click on the artist page links above.
